By creating an account or using SOUNDSYNQ™ ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use SOUNDSYNQ™. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app.
To use SOUNDSYNQ™'s core features, you must have an active Apple Music subscription. SOUNDSYNQ™ does not provide access to music content itself.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep your profile information up to date. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that contain false or misleading information.
SOUNDSYNQ™ integrates with Apple Music to enable social listening features. We do not provide, host, or distribute any music content. All music is streamed through your own Apple Music subscription and is subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
We are not responsible for any changes to Apple Music's availability, pricing, or content library. If your Apple Music subscription lapses, SOUNDSYNQ™'s playback features will be unavailable until you resubscribe.
SOUNDSYNQ™ includes social features such as friend connections, listening activity sharing, shared queues, and collaborative listening sessions. When using these features, you agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these guidelines without prior notice.
When you create a listening session, you act as the host and have full control over the session, including the ability to skip songs, manage the queue, remove participants, and end the session at any time.
When you join a session as a participant, you acknowledge that the host controls playback, other participants may add songs to the queue, and the host may remove you from the session at their discretion.
In party sessions with voting enabled, song selection is determined by participant votes. The host retains the ability to override or end voting rounds.
Songs shared to your queue by friends are suggestions. You can accept, react to, or dismiss them at any time.
Business accounts are intended for venues and organizations that want to host music sessions for their customers or staff. If you create a business account, you represent that you have the authority to act on behalf of that business.
You are responsible for managing your staff members and any sessions hosted under your business account. SOUNDSYNQ™ is not liable for how music is used in your venue — you are responsible for ensuring compliance with any applicable music licensing requirements for public performance.
Your use of SOUNDSYNQ™ is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using SOUNDSYNQ™, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
SOUNDSYNQ™ and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SOUNDSYNQ™ and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of any content you provide (such as your profile photo, display name, and business logo). By uploading content to SOUNDSYNQ™, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of operating the app.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to other users or the app.
You may delete your account at any time through the app settings. Upon deletion, all your data — including your profile, listening history, friendships, sessions, and shared queue data — will be permanently removed from our systems.
SOUNDSYNQ™ is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services such as Apple Music, Apple Push Notification Service, or any other external service that SOUNDSYNQ™ integrates with.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SOUNDSYNQ™ and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms in the app or on our website. Your continued use of SOUNDSYNQ™ after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
